To build this Yanakie tennis court, our clients were looking for a multi-purpose area, featuring tennis, basketball, and pickleball all in one. Here is how we put it all together to create a space to keep everyone active and happy!
Yanakie tennis court set up
Who says you can’t have a game of tennis, shoot some hoops with the kids or have a quick game of pickleball without amazing scenery and beautiful views thrown in?
This recent build took place in the rural area of Yanakie, Victoria, where our clients are located on a massive dairy farm.
The request was to bring together a space incorporating multiple sport surfaces in one and we certainly delivered!
This multi-purpose court features space for tennis – singles or doubles, plus pickleball (a similar but smaller set up to tennis) and also a half basketball court for those that like to run the kids ragged with a one-on-one match.
Court construction
When we have a space like this to work with, we know the clients are going to love the end result!
After taking care of all the digging and other earth works, we constructed a court featuring the best in synthetic grass for a surface that will last for years to come and withstand the extremes that the local weather can serve up.
Plus, those wayward shots will definitely be kept contained with a perimeter fence designed perfectly for the job at hand.
Our Melbourne sporting field building team also took care of the line markings – all set up for each sport, installation of the basketball hoop, tennis and pickleball netting and ensured the court was free of debris, ready for the first competitive match to play out!
It’s now game, set and match for anyone ready to play!
